Insertion
Senior DoD logisticians will provide strategic
perspectives on depot maintenance technology insertion (TI).
Panel members will discuss the recent effort by the Assistant
Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Maintenance) and the Services
to embark on a requirements-driven approach for identifying and
funding TI solutions to depot maintenance problems. They will
provide the view from the top as they answer questions related
to the Service-specific impact of a requirements-driven approach
to TI while emphasizing the need for joint collaboration through
the process. Audience participation is encouraged.

Members of the JTEG will provide practical
perspectives on requirements-based depot maintenance technology
insertion (TI). Representing their Services logistics
headquarters, this panel of subject matter experts provides the
link to the shop floor by continuously working to facilitate the
introduction of new and emerging technologies, processes, and
equipment into the depot maintenance community. They will answer
questions that focus on the benefits of Joint Service
collaboration and the importance of moving the maintenance
community toward a unified, requirements-driven TI approach.
